The Weyburn Junior High have elected their new School Community Council.

The council is currently working on their constitution, mission statements and school improvement plans.

The council includes chair Dana Pretzer, vice-chair Bill Holliday, representatives Jacquie Williams, Janice Wagner and Deanne Garven; Cory Olson was appointed from the teachers, and John Tresso is appointed as the principal. The representative of the students has yet to be announced.

The next meeting of the council will be on Tuesday, April 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the Weyburn Junior High School.
