Sponsors are needed for the sixth annual Weyburn Travelodge Charity Golf Tournament, which takes place on Sunday, June 10.

This year there are three sponsorship levels available. Platinum sponsors of $850 includes four golfers for the tournament and supper to follow. The hole sponsor will have a sign provided by the golf tournament committee and no other sponsor will be sponsoring that hole.

Gold sponsors of $500 will have a hole sign provided by the tournament committee and no other sponsor will be sponsoring that hole. A silver sponsor of $300 might be sponsoring a hole with another silver sponsor.

In addition, they are looking for sponsors for first, second and third place prizes. The committee is looking at $400 for first ($100 per team member), $300 for second ($75 per team member) and $200 for third ($50 per team member) in the form of either gift certificates or high quality merchandise which is worth the appropriate amount.

Any form of donation from businesses - a cash donation, golf tees, golf balls, etc. - will be accepted. The tournament is capped at 120 golfers, so any business willing to donate enough items for "goody bags" for every player would be appreciated by the committee.

Lastly, every year a golf-related item is given away to the players to remember the tournament. This year, hats with "2007 Weyburn Travelodge Charity Golf Tournament" on the front and the sponsor's name above the opening on the back will be given out.

The committee is looking for someone who is willing to sponsor the hats. They are looking to keep the cost under $10 per hat, meaning an outlay of about $1,200.
