Bomb threat at Comp

Weyburn Police members talk with staff from the Weyburn Comprehensive School just before going into the school to do a room-by-room search, after the school was evacuated on Tuesday morning due to a bomb threat phoned in to the school. After the students were evacuated, the police secured the building and students were sent home for the day. As over 200 band and choral students were to leave later Tuesday for their spring music trip, the bags and suitcases left at the school would have been checked along with all the classrooms. At press time it was unclear if the students would still be taking the trip.
