Rural high school in the Weyburn area are preparing for their graduation ceremonies, with the Radville High School having the earliest date, on Saturday, April 28. There will be 20 students graduating, with the ceremonies at 7 p.m. The theme for the graduation is the inspirational phrase: "To accomplish great things, we must not act - but also dream; not only plan - but also believe." The May rural graduation ceremonies will begin with Pangman High School on Friday, May 4, with the theme "In order to be old and wise, you must first be young and carefree." There will be five students graduating, with the ceremonies at the Rec. Centre at 7 p.m. On Friday, May 11, Yellow Grass High School will host their ceremony starting at 8 p.m. in the school gym. Nine students will be graduating to the theme, "A new tomorrow." On Saturday, May 12, Ogema High School will hold their ceremony starting at 7:30 p.m. at the school. Five students will be graduating, their theme is going to be, "Achieving starts with believing." The last ceremony in May for rural schools will be for Lyndale High School in Oungre, which will be holding graduation on Saturday, May 26, starting at 7:30 p.m. at the school. The eight students who are graduating this year have not decided on a grad theme yet. June rural ceremonies begin on Saturday, June 9, with ten students graduating from Gladmar High School, at 7 p.m. in their school gym. Midale Central High School will be graduating 14 students on Friday, June 15, with the opening ceremonies at 7 p.m. at the school. This will be followed by the graduation at the Sedley High School on Saturday, June 16, at the Sedley gym hall at 8 p.m. The nine graduating students' theme is "Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened." There will be two rural grad ceremonies on Thursday, June 28. One will be for 12 students graduating from the Milestone High School, which will take place at the Milestone Rink at 8 p.m. The other will be for Fillmore '33' Central High School, which will take place at the school gym at 7 p.m. There will be 16 students graduating to the theme, "Remember yesterday, live for today, dream for tomorrow." The last graduation ceremony in June for rural schools will be on Friday, June 29, for Stoughton Central High School. Seven students will be graduating, with the ceremonies at the school starting at 7 p.m. |
