The third annual Family Place Walk, Run or Roll will be held on Sunday, May 27, starting at 2 p.m. from River Park.

There will be no entry fee this year, however donations towards the Family Place will be accepted.

Organizers with the Family Place are requesting preregistration, as a snack and water bottles will be provided to all participants.

Any activity is welcomed for the walk, as participants can do a walk, run, cycle, roller-blade or bring little ones in a stroller. Also, participants can choose to do a three-kilometre, five-km, six-km or 10-km distance for the event.

Children are welcome to activities that will begin at 3 p.m., after they have participated in the walk. The Katimavik volunteers will be running these activities.

The organizers are hoping that participants will make challenges against other businesses, departments, schools, service groups, etc.

Participants can enter as a team or as an individual, and everyone is welcome to come out and take part.
