Two teams from the Weyburn Synchro Stars competed at the 2007 Synchronized Swimming Provincials over the April 28 weekend in Regina, competing in two events: The team routine and the figure event.

The tier I team, coached by Tracey Rothwell, brought home the gold medal in the routine event. In the figure event, 36 athletes competed. The results for the Weyburn athletes for the tier I team are as follows.

Coming in first place was Katlyn Fraser with a score of 51.417, with Shaina Berling (51.416) coming in second. Weyburn swept the podium as Katherine Ryan (51.000) coming in third place.

Fourth place went to Lauren Ryan (50.584), while Alexis Pederson (49.833) placed fifth. Cheyenne Wilson (47.750) came in 16th place, Sara Barrett (47.167) placed 22nd and Jenna Forsgren (46.750) placed 24th.

The tier II team, coached by Arlene Geisler, also competed in the figure and team event. They brought home the silver medal. Sixteen athletes competes with the results of the tier II team in the figure event are as follows.

Kimberley Rothwell placed first with Meagan Rothwell placing fifth. Crysta Geisler came in sixth followed by Michaela Klassen placing seventh. Jasmine Fraser came in 10th place and Brittany Gervais placed 15th.

The Synchro Stars also announced that Tracey Rothwell has been elected as the chairperson for the Grassroots committee for the Synchro Saskatchewan board. Arlene Geisler has also been elected as the president of the Synchro Saskatchewan board.
