Black and gold

A pumpjack is silhouetted by the setting sun in the Weyburn oilfield on Thursday evening south of Weyburn, as the pump pulls "black gold" light crude petroleum oil out of the ground. The oil industry will celebrate its successes and hear about future opportunities and challenges at the upcoming Saskatchewan Oil and Gas Show, which gets underway with the golf tournament on Tuesday, June 5, followed by the show on the exhibition grounds on Wednesday and Thursday, June 6 and 7. There will indoor and outdoor displays, speakers, and the Oil Patch Awards, including the Saskatchewan and S.E. Saskatchewan Oilman of the Year awards.
