The South East Cornerstone School Division held an employee recognition evening at the Legion Hall on June 19, honouring employees who reached benchmarks of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years in 2006 and 2007.

From the Weyburn and area, achieving five years of service were Haig teacher Arlene Dobson, Midale teachers Marjorie Hanson and Shelly McKenzie, Ogema special services/Kindergarten aide Barb Leonard, Pangman teachers Lisa Moon and Kathleen Mohr, Radville teacher Marty Hoehn, Souris teachers Stacey Adelman and Tanya Heebner, Yellow Grass teacher Kenton Field, Assiniboia Park Elementary teacher Darla Smith-Harkness, Lyndale educational assistants Leila Hansen and Bernadette Persson, Queen Elizabeth caretaker Elda Haug and educational assistant Danna Rosselin, Stoughton educational assistant Jaycee Piper, Weyburn family liaison council Sollie Kanders and Weyburn student service counselor Mark Penny.

Celebrating five years at the Weyburn Junior High are teacher Averyl Knapp, teacher Crystal Mantei, educational assistant Candice Quinlin, and educational assistant Lynn Quist. Bus drivers for the Weyburn area who celebrated five years are Brenda Molstad, Dave Rommann, Lawrence Morrisette, Mike Fellner, Cliff Gallinger, Kathy Kravanya and Russell Moe.
