Jared Durston holds on to the ice cream making bucket
as Natalie Hastings takes a turn with the hand crank, as this
group of children try their hand at making ice cream the old-fashioned
way. Watching at right are Ashley Betker and Kayla Rieger. Durston
and Betker were doing the tour at the Heritage Village on Friday,
with Rieger leading a group of children from the Signal Hill
summer arts program. Many of the children dressed in period costume
for the tour, during which they saw many of the buildings in
the Village. |
