Weyburn area producer Jeff Gaab looks over a sample
of the red Spring wheat he had been combining in this field south
of Weyburn on Wednesday. His family had three combines out working
this 300-acre field under the warm sunshine, and Gaab said the
wheat looked good for both yield and quality. After this field,
Gaab has some wheat, flax and oats to finish off for this year's
harvest operations, and the warm, sunny weather of the past week
enabled much of that work to get done for him and for many Weyburn
area producers. |
