The Weyburn and District United Way Communithon will be having a kick-off luncheon on Monday, September 11 at Knox Hall. The noon luncheon will include a proclamation to be signed by the mayor and the introduction of Communithon committee chairs and the identities of Captain United and Lady Charity for this year. This will be the 26th year that this Communithon has taken place to raise funds for the Weyburn and District United Way. Last year, while celebrating its silver anniversary, the Weyburn area exceeded its goal of $120,025 on air.
