Independent Riders donate to Salvation Army

The Weyburn Independent Riders donate a sleigh full of toys along with money donations to the Salvation Army Saturday at River Park following their toy run. From left to right are Santa Claus (Don Sealy), his little helper Emma Chuckry, Captain Raelene Russell and motorcyclist Glenn Scott. All of the money and toys were donated by local motorcycle enthusiasts.

So many choices for treats

Haig students make their way along the table to choose their favourite items on Wednesday, during the sale of baked goods, veggies, fruit and flowers. From left to right are Keesha Maas, Shaelyn Regnier, Bailey Kenway and Asia Montreuil, and behind them are Hunter Dugan and Tanner Jensen, with parent volunteer Dawn Domes at right. As the first function of Haig's School-Community Council of the new school year, the proceeds from the sale will go towards supporting school activities.
