WJH holds Terry Fox Run

The student body and staff of the Weyburn Junior High, numbering about 300, make their way through Jubilee Park on Friday afternoon for their Terry Fox School Run, part of the nation-wide event held by schools to help raise funds for cancer research. The junior high raised approximately $3,600, with some pledges still to come in to the school. This run has developed over the last few years into one of the major parts of the Terry Fox Run fundraiser, which the City of Weyburn also held on Sept. 16.
