Shown above are two designs proposed by internationally-renowned
scultpor Lea Vivot for a life-size sculpture of Tommy Douglas,
which she will donate to the City of Weyburn as a gift. The designs
she is showing here are a maquette in rough form only. This is
only a miniature clay figure of what Vivot is proposing to make;
full details will be added later once a design has been chosen.
The above designs were sent to show the community what she has
developed so far. Vivot is asking the community of Weyburn to
choose the design they most prefer, and pass along their comments
with any suggestions to any member of the ad hoc committee working
on this project, including Ross McMurtry, Isabelle Butters or
Gerald Alexander. |
