The Weyburn Chamber of Commerce is looking for sponsors for the WEYBEX awards, which will be taking place in June of 2008.

An event of this magnitude requires months of planning, said chamber manager Jeff Richards, and now is the time the Chamber to begin the planning process.

The first step in the planning process is to secure award sponsors. If local businesses are interested in this unique opportunity, they are urged to contact the Chamber office for more information.

"Sponsoring a WEYBEX award is an unparalleled opportunity for exposure of your business, as well as a fine gesture of support not only for the Chamber, but the entire community," said Richards.

Award sponsors will have their business name included in WEYBEX advertising, the evening's program numerous mentions at the event and excellent exposure preceding the event. In the run-up to the WEYBEX, the Chamber hosts an official kick-off where all sponsors are featured.

The WEYBEX awards are the vehicle that Chamber uses to celebrate business excellence among its members, with winners then forwarded onto the provincial ABEX awards facilitated by the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce. This level of exposure puts Weyburn and its businesses on the provincial stage for everyone to see.
