Brooke Alexander passes on her congratulations to
her uncle, Dustin Duncan, for being re-elected as the MLA for
Weyburn-Big Muddy in a landslide victory on Wednesday evening,
as Kevin Lackey and Winston Bailey watch. Duncan handily won
his seat with 60.5 per cent of the vote or 4,902 ballots, with
the NDP's Sharon Elliott a distant second with 2,026, Colleen
Christopherson-Cote of the Liberals third with 1,003 votes, and
Al Birchard of the Green Party last with 157 votes. Provincially,
the Sask Party won a majority government with 37 seats to 21
for the NDP, and the Liberals were again shut out of the Legislature. |
