Playing Vivaldi with a master

Queen Elizabeth student Brooke Alexander plays a piece from Vivaldi's The Four Seasons with violinist Brian Johnson, the principal second violin for the Regina Symphony Orchestra, during a visit by two RSO musicians on Wednesday. Johnson and his wife, Lisa Simmermon, principal timpani for the RSO, brought the Shumiatcher Music Ambassador Program to the school to help raise awareness and appreciation of music.

Working together to earn an edge

While Chelsea deVries (8) blocks an Estevan opponent during the McLeod Series, Jessica Pyett (11) dribbles towards the net. In the second part of the annual series, hosted in Weyburn on Friday night, the Comp Eagles girls earned 63-40 win over Estevan.
