St. Dominic donates to celebrate Lent

St. Dominic students are ready to unload their teacher's truck with donations of food, drink and clothing for the Salvation Army on Thursday morning. Going clockwise from bottom left are Jada Kot, Quinn Glaspey, Alexsander Hes and Kyle Martin. For the six weeks of Lent preceding Easter, there is a different theme each week, and students of all grades are encouraged to donate according to the week's theme. Coming up for the last three weeks will be a collection for peace and development projects, making cards to be given to residents of nursing homes, and donating used magazines to be given to the hospital for use by patients.
