wing in the Weyburn Comp. Both Megan and Stephanie are third-year
members in the Comp art club. The art club is an extra-curricular
activity, that encourages artists to work on individual projects
throughout the school year. When the Comp's yearly musical takes
place, members from the art club paint and design the set for
the production. The inspiration for the murals came from an idea
in a book that Megan and Stephanie saw. They thought it would
be something different to do, to create faux doors that would
give the impression of real doors in the hall near the science
wing. Stephanie liked the old rustic door appearance of her mural
and Megan liked the geometric shapes in her door. |
