With Kindergarten registration finished for many Weyburn schools, overall in the city there was an increase of 26 students. This increase could still grow before the start of the next school year.

The biggest jumps of Kindergarten student enrolment were at Assiniboia Park Elementary School and Haig School. Assiniboia Park has 31 students currently enrolled, almost twice as much as the 16 students they had in Kindergarten last year. Haig has 31 students currently enrolled, again almost double the 17 students they had in Kindergarten last year.

The other schools, St. Dominic Savio, Queen Elizabeth and Souris School are about average. St. Dominic Savio School has 41 students currently registered, close to the enrollment of 45 for last year. Queen Elizabeth has 23 students currently registered, close to the enrolment of 20 last year, while Souris has 17 students currently enrolled, close to the enrolment of 20 last year.
