Entries are now being taken for the seventh annual Travelodge Charity Golf Tournament, which will be taking place on Sunday, June 8, at the Weyburn Golf Club.

There is a limit of 120 golfers at an entry fee of $90. The entry fee will include 18 holes of golf, a golf cart rental and a Greek supper after the tournament at the El Rancho banquet room.

Each year this tournament raises money for the Sun Country Health Region and all of the proceeds from this year's tournament will go towards the purchase of a new ambulance for the Health Region.

Last year's event raised about $32,000 and the organizing committee is hoping for the same success this year.

"We are hoping to raise around the same amount for this year's tournament," said organizer George Siourounis.
