Motocross racers take part in the pro-national race

Several local motocross racers took part in the pro-national round at the Regina Moto Valley on June 21 and 22.

In the 85cc 12 to 16 class, Allan Baird of Halbrite finished in 19th, taking 20th in round one and 18th in round two. Jordan Ippolito ended up in 21st place, taking 21st in round one and 20th in round two.

Earning seventh place in GP Beginner was Mark Hicks earning a ninth position in both rounds. Kale Babiarz finished at 14th place, earning a placing of fifth in round one and no placing in round two. Greg Miller took 20th, finishing in 18th in both rounds.

Taking ninth in the MX-2 Junior was Mason Henderson, finishing 12th in round one and 6th in round two. Following right behind in 10th was Andrew Baird of Halbrite, earning 16th in round one and placing fourth in round two. Dalton Thomas also competed, taking 33rd place, by placing 36th in round one and 31st in round two.

In the ladies class, Keely Toles of Midale earned 28th place, by finishing 26th in round one and 24th in round two.

Placing in the Super Mini class was Jordan Ippolito at 22nd place, after finishing 19th in round one and 24th in round two. Allan Baird of Halbrite finished right behind at 23rd place, finishing 23rd in round one and 20th in round two.

In the youth class, Andrew Baird of Halbrite took 11th place, not placing in the first round, but taking a sixth place in the second round. Dalton Thomas lace 27th, finishing 27th in the first round and 21st in the second round.

Regionals for the Canadian Motocross circuit continue on Sunday, July 6 in Kerrobert.
