And they're off ...

Lawn mower tractors trundle off the starting line for a heat in the lawn mower races, held in front of the grandstands as a part of the annual Demolition Derby on Wednesday evening. The derby helped close out the Weyburn Fair, held to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Weyburn Ag society. The grandstands in the background are shown with the roof, completed just prior to the start of the Fair, and are packed with just under 1,000 people, with a couple hundred more spectators in adjoining stands around the area to take in the derby and tractor races.
