This was the home of Sarah Powell, daughter of H.O.
Powell, who was a general manager of the Weyburn Security Bank
when it was chartered in 1911. Sarah went on to marry Dr. Mohammed
Fadhil Jamali of Iraq, a former Prime Minister and Minister of
Foreign Affairs of that country and the man who signed the United
Nations Charter on behalf of Iraq in 1933.
