The owners and dignitaries at the launch of Stewart Southern Railway gather on the front of the locomotive at the ceremonies held on Friday in Fillmore. Over 250 people attended the grand opening and barbecue to mark the launch of the SSR, which is the 11th short-line rail operation in Saskatchewan; it will operate on the Tyvan sub line, which runs for 132 km or 82 miles from Richardson (near Regina) to Stoughton.
