Brewer and Twins moving to the top

North Saskatchewan River Baseball League

Some teams are already at the halfway point of their schedules while others are just digging in, but the North Saskatchewan River Baseball League standings are now starting to take shape.

Wednesday, the Lloydminster Junior Redhawks won their second game of the season with a 5-2 win over the Unity Cardinals. Unity’s record is now 3-1.

The Meadow Lake Sox got back to their winning ways with a 5-2 win over the Border City Blue Jays. Meadow Lake is 2-2 on the season while the Blue Jays are 2-3.

The Lloydminster Midgets won 2-1 over the Standard Hill Lakers to improve to 2-2 on the season. The Lakers drop to 2-1-1.

There are four games on the league schedule for Thursday, two Friday, two Sunday and two Monday.
