North Stars force game 6

There would be no better time for Tanner Schwab to score his first goal of the 2012 playoffs, then in overtime in an elimination game.

Schwab broke a 1-1 tie mid way through the first overtime period Friday in Humboldt and made it a 3-2 series.

The Broncos led 1-0 with a second period goal, but in the third period Kyle Hall backhanded a shot to the top corner by Matt Hyrnkiw and tied the game. Graham Hildebrand was the North Stars best player winning his second straight game in his first two starts of the series.

Schwab scored in overtime and the North Stars fight off elimination for the fifth time in the playoffs.

Game six will be played Sunday at the Civic Centre at 7:30 p.m.. Tickets are on sale Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. for the game.
