Courthouse entrance gets work done

Review photo 6830 — Greg Nikkel

Two workers are busy on top of the ornate entrance to Weyburn’s historic landmark Courthouse on Thursday, as they make repairs to the narrow roof that is over the front doors. The Courthouse has been extensively renovated from top to bottom, both inside and out, with some of the exterior work including new front doors, new windows, and a replacement of the roof. Inside the facility, work crews have replaced the old steam heating system with a new heating system, and an air-exchange system, as well as intalling an elevator to make the second floor accessible.
