The Humboldt Broncos’run for the RBC Cup was halted abruptly by a sudden-death overtime goal by the Woodstock Slammers in their semifinal game on May 12. The game ended with the Slammers up 4-3, and moved them on to the final on Sunday. In the other semifinal on Saturday, the Penticton Vees beat the Soo Thunderbirds 3-0.
