LaBatte, a former Weyburn local, returned to the city on Friday night as one of the keynote speakers at the fundraising banquet for Weyburn Minor Football. Another keynote speaker was Corey Chamblin, the new head coach for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, who donated two “Coaches Packages” to help raise funds for the new football field being built in Weyburn.
