Tyler Douglas and Jim Shaw place plants during the outdoor classroom building session at Queen Elizabeth School on Thursday. The Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers sponsored the event which taught students about sustainable energy development and gave them a chance to practice environmental stewardship by building the outdoor classroom. Local energy companies also supplied volunteers to assist the Grade 5 and 6 students in building the outdoor classroom.
