Local Girl Guides take part in their national clean-up day by picking up litter downtown on May 5. Girls from the youngest Sparks up to Rangers picked up litter downtown, particularly around the United and Anglican church where the Girl Guides hold their meetings. After the clean-up, there was a family barbecue and advancement ceremonies.
