The baseball, slo-pitch and fastball diamonds in the Battlefords and area weren't all completely dry and ready for use Monday night after the more than three inches of rain on the weekend.

Two Battlefords and District Ladies' Fastball League games were played and in Maidstone the Iron Maidens beat the Unity Bantam Panthers 14-7.

In Unity, the Battlefords Survivors were mercied 18-7 by the Unity Midget Panthers.

In North Saskatchewan River Baseball League action, the Battleford Beaver Blues game against Standard Hill was pushed back to Tuesday while the while the Midwest Expos moved to 3-3 on the season with a 11-0 win over St. Walburg.
