Andrew Asapace holds out a piece of watermelon with a butterfly on it, so that the rest of his Grade 1 classmates can see the insect before it is released. The Grade 1 students from Souris School released 24 butterflies on Friday morning, sharing the experience with Hill Top Manor residents. These students learned about butterflies, with the class purchasing caterpillars, and they watched the metamorphosis process in their classroom.
