Drug bust in North Battleford

The RCMP say they have made an arrest after finding marijuana and cocaine in a search.

Sharmaine Cindy Roy, 37, was arrested and is due to appear in North Battleford provincial court July 12.

She is charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking as well as possession of proceeds of crime.

Monday evening, North Battleford Provincial General Investigation Section along with Municipal GIS and Municipal Detachment executed a CDSA search warrant on a residence on the 1200 block of 99th Street in North Battleford.  

Police seized marijuana and paraphernalia relating to its packaging and sale, as well as cocaine and an amount of cash.
