Search results in drug charges

Humboldt pair charged with trafficking in marijuana

Trafficking charges were laid against a pair of people from Humboldt after a search of a city residence over the weekend.
On July 15, RCMP from Humboldt and Lanigan executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) at a residence in Humboldt.
As a result of the search, RCMP seized approximately 2.5 ounces of cannabis marijuana from the house, which is not a large amount in itself, but when paired with the cash also found at the residence and drug paraphernalia used in the sale and distribution of drugs, which RCMP state they also found at the home,  it resulted in some serious charges.
An  adult male and an adult female were arrested and are facing charges of trafficking in a controlled substance, namely cannabis marijuana.
Their court date has yet to be determined.
Their names cannot be released until they have made their first appearance in court on the charges.
