The search for some interesting farm animals has never proven to be difficult. Some of you may be wondering why the beloved petting zoo outside of town has not re-opened for the season yet.

Ogy’s petting zoo which is located with the rest of Ogy’s wonderful treats such as mini-putt and fries, has been put on a slight delay this year due to the absence of animal occupants.

Petting Zoo owner Del Johnson said the zoo is making slow but steady progress, but that sometimes finding the animals is not easy. Johnson said the zoo is now open but that the public should expect to eventually see more animals this season.

“So far there is some good news. Two cute lambs and two bunnies have joined us with the hope of more arriving soon,” said Del Johnson.

Although Ogy’s Petting Zoo wasn’t open to visitors early this season, some of the farms animals have moved back into their old homes at the location near the lake. The zoo is ready to bring smiles to children and adults alike.

If you know anyone with interesting petting zoo material animals, do not hesitate to let the owners know.
