The operations of the Weyburn Water Treatment Plant is explained to participants and staff of the Sun Country Kids Club by Maurice Granger, far right, senior operator at the plant. The Sun Country Kids Club toured the water treatment plant on Wednesday and learned how the facility treats water from Nickle Lake for drinking water and other uses. Also this summer, the Sun Country Kids Club are painting yellow fish near storm drains to remind residents not to litter down the storm drains, as this can affect the quality of the drinking water.
