Truman Sorenson leaps into the air as he flips his skateboard, with the idea to land on it again right-side up, during a practice session at the Weyburn Youth Center’s skateboard park on July 31. The Youth Center was hosting the group, Street Invaders, at the park last week, while this week are celebrating their 20th anniversary. The anniversary activities included a skateboarding competition on Tuesday, and a large concert featuring six bands this evening, Aug. 8, at the grandstands on the Weyburn fair grounds. Admission to the concert was free as part of the anniversary celebrations.
