President-elect Duane Schultz accepts a Rotary Club banner from the club’s newest exchange student, Frederike Lieske, on Thursday at the weekly luncheon meeting. Frederike just arrived in Weyburn for her year-long exchange the night before; the banner is from the Rotary Club in her hometown, Parchim, Germany. Her parents are pharmacists, and the 16-year-old enjoys sailing, karate and horseback riding, and also plays piano. She will be attending the Weyburn Comprehensive School for the next year.
