Jenni Ferrence shows some of the items suggested for packing a shoe box for Operation Christmas Child as a Christmas gift, during a visit to the Weyburn Rotary Club on Thursday. She and a friend were on a distribution trip in March of this year, on which she distributed gift boxes to children in Uruguay, South America. This year’s campaign will kick off with an event on Thursday, Oct. 11 at the Free Methodist Church, which is also the collection depot for Weyburn.
