Grade 2 student Danica Rodenbush gets a helping hand out of a window from Bill Houghton of the Weyburn Fire Department and her St. Michael School teacher Denise Schmidt on Oct. 16 outside of the school. Houghton visited the students to brush them up on evacuation procedures at the school and he taught them how to escape from window, in case the students ever need to escape a building in an emergency. Houghton brought the fire safe house from the Fire Department for the students to practice.
