Review photo 8308 — Greg Nikkel

Queen Elizabeth School students bring out bags of donated food to the tractor and trailer parked in front of the school picking up the donations, for the “Drive Away Hunger” campaign to help the Salvation Army’s Food Bank on Thursday. From left are Jessica Dixon, Matthew Charlton, Thomas Robinson and Nathan Van Staveren, as tractor driver Jeff Walkeden takes the donation at the door of the trailer. Queen Elizabeth raised 630 pounds of food, which along with donations from several businesses and schools around Weyburn was delivered to the Salvation Army for their food bank, with a total of 5,026 pounds of food and $8,795 donated from the community as a whole.
