Mayor Debra Button, newly-re-elected for a third term to office, has a chat with former Weyburn mayor Isabelle Butters about the election on Wednesday evening at the Legion Hall, where Button had a gathering to watch election results. Button handily won the mayoral election by garnering 1,683 votes to 262 for challenger Bruce Croft. All council incumbents who ran were also re-elected, plus two new members, Laura Morrissette and Mel Van Betuw. The new council will be sworn in on Nov. 13.
