Two tractors, driven by Ed Howse and Bryon Ledingham, set in place the steel framework foundation for what will be the railway platform at Pangman, as Dan Cordick watches from the track at right; the community project set up a platform to receive the Southern Prairie Railroad Tour from Ogema, which came to Pangman’s Farmers Market every Saturday through the summer, making Pangman part of the regular destination of the tourist train, which runs on the Red Coat Road and Rail. The platform was built completely with volunteer labour, with funding from different sources from the community.
