Trees painted with hoar frost

Review photo 8519 — Greg Nikkel

The landscape in River Park lies still and quiet under a fresh blanket of snow, with the finishing touch of hoar frost tipping the tree branches to complete the scene on Wednesday. The Weyburn and surrounding area received a dumping of snow over the long weekend, and the hoar frost came overnight Tuesday-Wednesday from humidity in the air which froze onto branches in the form of frost.
