Sgt. Dave Schenk checks the licence and registration of a motorist during an impromptu traffic check-stop, held on Railway Avenue near Government Road. The three officers on the shift at the time all combined their efforts, checking drivers to make sure they had not been drinking, nor were committing any other infractions, such as using a cell-phone or driving without a seatbelt on, or had any outstanding traffic tickets or warrants for their arrest.
