Assiniboia Park students Ava Morfitt and Arliss Sidloski team up to sweep a stone thrown by a classmate, during a Grades 5-6 class on curling held Wednesday morning at the Weyburn Curling Club. Some volunteers helped teachers show the young students some of the basic techniques of throwing a curling rock, sweeping it, and how to curl the shots as needed.
