Clearing away mounds of snow

Review photo 1350 — Greg Nikkel

A front-end loader scoops up piles of snow to the side of the road so he can remove it with one of the city’s dump trucks, during snow-clearing operations on Clark Street on Monday. A heavy snowfall hit the Weyburn area from Sunday evening over to Monday, leaving between 15 and 20 cm of snow on the ground, after most streets were clear with recent mild temperatures. This snowfall was a reminder that winter has not finished with us yet.
