Cutting out patterns for bears and ‘bare essentials’

Review photo 1254 — Sabrina Kraft

Rina Hoffman and Ronna Shugart, in the front row, cut out patterns during a sewing bee on Thursday afternoon, while Marnie Bernard discusses the program with Lee McLeod in the background. During the day, different community sewers worked on a complete of different designs, including teddy bears, and personal hygiene products for women in Africa. The items that were created will be donated to Canadian Nurses For Africa, who have worked on mission trips in Africa since 2009.
